On June 11th, 2021, RTFKT launched the Creator Challenge 16: Toy Challenge. This community-driven initiative invited RTFKT Creators to showcase their artistic vision by designing a unique RTFKT Toy. The three winners were granted the opportunity to have their toy creations officially minted as a NFT by RTFKT at a later date.
The Creator Challenge 16 ran from June 11th, 2021 to August 3rd, 2021, culminating in the announcement of the winning entries. The following designs emerged victorious:
- First Place: The Meta-Alchemist created by Vini Naso
- Second Place: Urloc & Ghale created by Erick Tosco
- Third Place: DeFi Demon created by JustFredrik
On August 13th, 2021, RTFKT minted the winning toy designs as NFTs and released them for purchase on the Rarible marketplace. Each winning design was offered in a limited edition of 20 NFTs, priced 0.1 ETH (Ethereum) each. These collectible digital toys can now be found within the RTFKT Creators collection on Opensea.
