On April 25th, 2021, RTFKT cooperated with Friends of the Children, a national non-profit organization supporting underprivileged youth, to participate in the Future Dreams fundraiser. Through the fundraiser, 8 unique NFTs were created by children in the program showcasing their future dreams through the lens of digital art. This cooperation aimed to raise charitable funds through the creation and auction of a unique, one-of-one NFT sneaker on the OpenSea platform. The entirety of the proceeds generated from the auction were designated for donation to Friends of the Children. The design for this exclusive NFT sneaker was conceptualized by RTFKT team member Blenderdac, in cooperation with his children, Benja and Mati. The winning bid amounted to 2 ETH (Ethereum).
