On May 4, 2021, RTFKT officially partnered with Metakey, a company exploring the expansive potential applications of blockchain technology through NFTs, to create a limited-edition RTFKT-designed Metakey NFT. A set total of 750 exclusive NFTs were available to mint at a set price of 0.2 ETH (Ethereum) solely to holders of any of the first three editions of Metakey's NFT releases, rewarding their prior engagement. The RTFKT Metakey NFT belongs to the "Edition One - Genesis" collection.
Post-Release Utility:
On June 28th, 2021, RTFKT airdropped an exclusive pair of Alien Mars sneakers on Decentraland to all Metakey holders.
