In late 2020, RTFKT officially cooperated with Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment to develop a collection of exclusive physical footwear for the hit video game Apex Legends. The collaboration yielded a series of five unique one-of-one sneaker creations, each thematically linked to a well-established character within the game's universe, including Wattson, Octane, Crypto, Rampart, and Lifeline. The official Apex Legends social media channel formally unveiled the Rampart’s Rarities giveaway and outlined the participation process on October 6th, 2020. The shoes were never officially sold and were only distributed to lucky giveaway winners. Each of the five shoes came in its own unique box decorated with the game characters' name and design aesthetic. No digital version of the shoes were included in this release.
