In December 2020, RTFKT officially cooperated with Twitch.tv to create a unique physical version of the Air Force 1 Low. The collaboration featured two sneaker colorways, Black & White, which were sent to participants at random. Both iterations incorporated thematic elements, with the iconic Nike swoosh reimagined with Twitch's signature purple hue and screenprinted logos, customized tongue tags, shoelaces and deubrés. The back of each tongue tag featured various classic Twitch emotes such as PogChamp and NotLikeThis. A total of 13 emotes were included and were randomly distributed with each pair of sneakers.
This release was exclusively gifted to a small select group of popular partnered Twitch streamers, such as xQc, as a token of appreciation for their partnership and loyalty during the holiday season. The recipients also received a specially designed Twitch-themed purple shoebox that included a personalized holiday card and access to an exclusive AR experience created by RTFKT via a QR code.
